Old St. Mary’s second Night Fever, which took place June 20, 2015 was a HUGE success. If you have never been to this event, the next time it will be at Old St. Mary’s is October 24, 2015 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a mass at 5:30 PM.
Old St. Mary’s thanks Chris Gawel and the Archdiocese of Detroit for sponsoring “Night Fever” at our church! People were spontaneously invited into our church simply from outside by many of the 150 volunteers for this event. Hundreds of people came into Old St. Mary’s during the first two events, March 14 and June 20, to light a candle, say a prayer, meet with priests, have confession, be present during Eucharistic Adoration and simply have prayerful conversations.
Night Fever was started in Europe and Old St. Mary’s was the first church in the Archdiocese of Detroit to welcome this new effort. For more information about this event and future ones, visit the AOD website or Detroit Night Fever Facebook.
Old St. Mary’s thanks the Detroit Mass Mob, their dedicated organizers and all 1500 people who attended the Noon Mass on March 15, 2015. This is great work they do and we encourage you to follow them on their websites and social media outlets!
It is always an honor to have His Excellency at our church.
