Parish Mission Statement

Old St. Mary's Parish is a Catholic faith community serving the downtown area, the business community, and those living in the region who are attracted to our community.

Empowered by the Eucharist and other Sacraments of the Church, we exist to give glory to God through worship, sharing the good news, having special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and reaching out to serve those poor in spirit and in resources. The later applies in a special way to our twin-parish, St. Michael's in Kijungru, Tanzania, East Africa.

Learn The Faith

Do Catholics Worship Statues or preach a false Gospel? The very earliest Christian services and prayers are contained in the Mass. Join us for classes in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). Visit our "Discover Catholicism" page for more info.

Bible Study. Moderated by Fr. John, after the 5:30 pm Saturday Mass. Open to everyone; walk-ins welcome!

Holy Communion Classes. Taught by the Sisters of Jesus the Saviour

Legion Of Mary. Meets the First Saturdays of the Month for Mass and Rosary.

Fatima Rosary. The 13th of each month, May thru October, prayed after the daily Mass. Outside in front of the Madonna of the Streets statue.
